Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the construction of the straw chopper, the task of which is to crush straw into small pieces. There is a brief summary of harvesting thrashers described in the first part of the thesis which is focused on technology of straw treatment. Calculation includes belt and chain gears also as a dimensioning of a shaft. Next the crusher attachment to the frame of the harvesting thrasher is described as well as other innovations which are displayed in the form of 3D models in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014. Calculation of the pin for deformation analysis and FEM follows. Drawing documentation is also included.
