Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the design of a manual rope winch with a gear and a cover for this gear. The introductory part focuses on the division and accessories of winches and it also lists several winches that can be found on the market. The following chapter focuses on the construction of the proposed winch. The main parts of the final product are described here with pictures for a better idea of the described part of the winch. Images are taken from Autodesk Inventor Professional 2019's own winch design. Here's how to anchor the rope to the drum. The third chapter is focused on design and strength calculations of the main parts of the winch. Here you can find the design of the rope and rope drum, the transmission and the inspection of its parts, such as the static inspection of the shafts.
