Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a vertical bucket elevator for the transport of abrasive materials. This bachelor thesis is divided into chapters, the first deals with research of equipment for vertical transport of bulk materials. The theoretical part is followed by the analytical part, namely the calculation of the circumferential force, the required work performance, the tensioning force and the maximum tensile force in the tension element. All calculations in the analytical compartment will have to be calculated three times for three types of abrasives. Based on calculations from the analytical part, the abrasive will be selected for which the highest values were found for the calculated quantities. For the selected case, strength calculations will also be performed. The final step is the design of the solution.
