Abstract

This thesis is focused on the study of surface relief on a steel substrate adhesion of protective coatings. Initial theoretical part is purposefully designed so that we generally ocquainted with the knowledge used or present in the experimental work. The theoretical part introduced the topics such as characterization and surface properties, geometric description of the surface, coating substrate adhesion mechanism and finally the organic coating systems. The experimental part is focused on the study and evaluation of two types of coatins adhesion to the surface of the steel substrate on the corrosion resistance of the coating system and proper differentiation of both coating systems.
