Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis examines the impact of implementing a self-management model in the company. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate how this approach affects organizational functioning in terms of decision-making, collaboration, employee motivation, and financial performance. The theoretical part describes traditional and modern management approaches, focusing on the principles of self-management. The practical part is based on a case study of company XY and includes an analysis of profit and loss statements, a SWOT analysis, and interviews with employees. The results show that the transition to self-management had a positive effect on efficiency, teamwork, and job satisfaction. At the same time, personnel costs decreased while profit increased. The thesis confirms that self-management can be a viable alternative to traditional leadership and provides recommendations for its further development in practice.
