Abstract
This thesis deals with intelligent monitoring wear of cutting tools. Materials ceramic cutting tool is based on silicon nitride coated with a resistive layer. The first part is theoretically analyze the problem of wear of cutting tools and ways to measure wear. The following chapter describes the cutting ceramics with a focus on nitride ceramics. Furthermore, the theoretic analysis of experiment system SNOP and spectrometer. The central part is the processing of measured results and their graphic evaluation depending on the wear of time. The conclusion summarizes all the lessons learned from the experiment.
