Abstract
Master thesis is dealing with design of the mechanism, torque wrench, for tightening critical components of sensitive optomechanical assemblies. At the beginnig, the thesis consists of a market research in this area, and an indicative definition of the tightening torques for the intended application. The main part is the design of the proposed torque wrench, with a special focus on solving problems with tool accuracy, and including design and control calculations. Other important parts are the design of the tool for tightening inside the tube, and design of the experiment to determine the required tightening torque corresponding to the defined axial force. An integral part is also the complete drawing documentation of the designed torque wrench and tightening tool.
