Abstract
Master thesis deals with the verification of cabine structure during crash of locomotive to wagon. The mathematical model consisting of locomotive and wagon was described. The algorithm establishing kinematic properties for this system was created. Obtained kinematic properties for the locomotive with considering of nonlinear fender stiffness function was applied on the cabine. It was done for both driving directions. Modal analysis discovered that a eigen frequence of the locomotive is not in a resonance area. Critical places of the cabine were found. More dovetails were added to reduce she stress further. Analysis of stress fields appeared during the crash showed that the cabine is user convenient and fail- safe to protect a machineman. Nevertheless certain technical measures which should minimize the risk of injury have been recommended to submitter. There is no future operation usage of the locomotive on the score of large plastic deformations.
