Abstract

This thesis compares the theory of recruitment and selection practices in the selected organization Manutan Ltd. The introductory part includes theoretical perspective on human resource management, personnel management activities prior to recruitment and selection, recruitment, resources, staff recruitment practices, personnel marketing, selection of employees, selection methods and their validity, policies and mistakes in selecting employees. The practical part deals with the characteristics of the enterprise, there is analyzed the course of recruitment and selection processes using analytical methods. In the final section, on the basis of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, courses of action that would lead to correct the problems and shortcomings are recommended and contribute to the comprehensive management of recruitment and selection processes at Manutan Ltd.
