Abstract
The Master thesis deals with the evaluation of the front sealing design, especially the dependence of the 3D surface roughness on the sealing capabilities in the selected vacuum system. In connection with this issue, the essence of the sealing with a broad focus on O-rings as a sealing element is described in the introduction and also on the evalution of the 3D surface roughness. The experimental part deals with the influence of 3D surface roughness on the sealing properties of the functional surface LV HEADPLATE under selected machining conditions.
