Zhodnocení finančních trhů zemí Visegrádské skupiny

Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to evaluate and compare the development of financial markets of Visegrad Group. Underdevelopment of financial market is evaluated through stock exchanges of the selected countries. Thesis is focused on the evaluation of individual exchanges based on their investment indicators. Subsequently there is made a comparison of main equity indexes according to their profitability and volatility through daily closing prices for the period from 1. 1. 2003 to 31. 12. 2015. Part of the evaluation indices is a consideration of their links using covariance and correlation including the use of Granger test for the determination of causal dependence between individual indexes. Last part shows the origin and course of the financial crisis and captures the macroeconomic stability of the selected countries. The conclusion is dedicated to the overall evaluation of the results of this work.
