Ostrava: VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Power Engineering, 2021, 83 p. Thesis head: Šmída, Z. The diploma thesis deals with shock phenomena. The theoretical part contains a short discussion of selected quantities, describes calculations for ideal state changes, the last chapters deal with compressors and a description of shock compression and shock expansion. In the practical part there are diagrams p-v and T-s for compression with shock phenomena, then this part of the diploma thesis contains calculations of action variables for compression without shock phenomena and subsequently with the implementation of these phenomena.
