Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and assess stabilization constructions for underground parking. The initial part of the thesis deals with advantages and disadvantages of the possibility to use underground for parking places. It brings the example of effective underground parking in Ostrava and automated parking system, for which the foundation pit is designed. Accordingly, the thesis describes foundation pits, their differentiation and offers an overview of chosen stabilization constructions. The practical part of the thesis is focused on design of foundation pit for underground parking in selected location. Based on the available geological data, there was constructed geological model of rock environment in program RockWorks17. In the chosen cross-section two stabilization constructions are designed and assessed. Design and assessment was done in program GEO5. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates and compares the selected types of stabilization structures.
