The presented Master thesis deals with the issue of natural gas enrichment with hydrogen from a technical and economic point of view. The theoretical part describes the green deals of the European Union and then the green deals of the Czech Republic. Renewable energy sources together with hydrogen and their overall potential in the Czech Republic are also described. After that, the thesis describes the very issue of hydrogen when it is burned in household appliances and its use in transport. The last topic of the theoretical part is the description of stoichiometric equations for the calculation of gaseous fuel. In the practical part, the work is focused on the stoichiometric calculation of the combustion of natural gas in combination with different concentrations of hydrogen. Subsequently, the work calculates the basic properties from the standard, which change depending on the enrichment of natural gas with hydrogen. Furthermore, in the practical part, the power calculation of the designed economizer for individual mixtures of natural gas, which is again enriched with hydrogen, is carried out. The last part of this work is the economic evaluation of the enrichment of natural gas with hydrogen at the steam-gas cycle of the power plant in Počerady.
