Abstract
The thesis analyzes the potential of e-auctions on the market of universities. In the theoretical section is summarized the knowledge of purchasing marketing and also there are defined terms e-business, e-commerce and e-auctions. The practical part is devoted to the characterization of the NAR marketing company. Market potential of universities and the determination of benefits and barriers of usage of electronic auction are based on the situational analysis and results of surveys. At the end of thesis there are proposed some recommendations, which should help to improve decision making of NAR marketing company.
