Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the renovation methodology of the historic car front axle and its application on the Skoda Felicia type 994. The first part of the thesis explains the concept of the historic vehicle and legislation of these vehicles. Then follows a general technical description of the refurbished vehicle and division of axles used in vehicles, both historic and contemporary. This is followed up by a description of the state of the vehicle to which the refined axle belongs and the original condition of the front axle. The theoretical part describes the proposal for the renovation procedure. Subsequently, I deal with the calculation of the main dimensions of the brake lining. In the practical part, the theoretical design is applied and detailed on the Skoda Felicia car. In the last part, the financial demands of the work are evaluated economically.
