Abstract

The thesis deals with hydraulic drive systems in presses used in the automotive industry. Its opening part focuses on the theoretical background of hydraulic press systems, including the history of presses, their construction, drive systems, and the development of the automotive carpeting. The practical part presents three draft concepts of a hydraulic press. A functional scheme of a hydraulic press has been designed according to the given assignment. The work cycle of the machine has been described in the instructions for use. On the basis of the press motion analysis, the necessary flow rate and output of the hydro generator have been calculated. Subsequently, a thermal calculation has been carried out, the appropriate cooler chosen and the risks of the machine assessed. The appendices contain a technical specification of components, the list of engines and components, and manufacturing documentation of the hydraulic aggregate.
