Abstract

The thesis focuses on the issue of the use of waste heat from compressors in the form of warm air. The introduction deals with the basic theory of waste heat utilization and other related theory. The description of the compressors and their operation is followed by a part of the problem analysis. Following is the design of the manifold, which is based on the relevant literature and tolerates the construction conditions of the compressor background. In the next part are processed two variants of the use of warm air, ie hot-air heating and variant of air-water heat exchanger. In conclusion, I made an economic evaluation of the suggestion of solution and compared this suggestion with the previous solution.
