Abstract

This diploma work deals with a test mechanism design for gas struts examination. Initially, I elaborated a survey of constructions and types, properties and gas braces use. After that, I performed an entrance contemplation related to a construction solution of the mechanism, propulsion used and their alternatives, driving elements and work cycle of the machine. According to requirements of assignment, I designed a pneumatic and electro-pneumatic driving circuit. I examined the function of both driving types in a laboratory of pneumatic mechanisms and I described it minutely and I explained the most important parts. The diploma work includes calculations necessary for dimensioning of elements, as well as calculations of work parameters and their range. The mechanism designed and its parts were shaped by means of different computer softwares. The supplement of the diploma work consists of driving circuit drawings, mechanism set drawing, and a data CD with short videos of designed work circuits examinations in a school laboratory of pneumatic mechanisms.
