Abstract

TOMÁŠEK, D. Material Flow Management System and Increased Efficiency: thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of mechanical technology, 2019, 92 s. Thesis head: prof. Ing. Jiří Hrubý CSc. The thesis deals with increasing of the material flow in specific company. Theoretical part consist of basic characteristics of material flow, introduction of the main methods of material flow management, workplace schemes and methods that specify the material flow. The empirical part describes material flow in the company and the weak parts of the process. The main reason of the thesis is to propose specific suggestions in order to increase the material flow effectivity in the departments with the highest added value and those which they directly depend on. The result of the thesis is the analysis of expenses needful for the application of the process changes and their return.
