The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of additive production (3D printing) of plastic models; modern technological procedures with regard to surface (post-processing) modifications. An overview of the available 3D printing technologies and the technologies of surface treatment of plastic models which were verified in practice could be found in the introduction of this thesis. The practical part of this thesis is focused on applying the finalizing surface modification on a real prototype designed for the automotive industry (the usage of 3D printing in the automotive industry).
