Abstract
This bachelor thesis is about optimization of ski bindings based on model Marker Duke EPF, this type of bindings are used to ski alpinist activities. Optimization is of the major part focused on reduction of weight and extending the use of bindings. Thesis includes description of actual construction solutions available at models of bindings designated for this type of sport activities. This thesis deals with construction treatments and solutions of redesigned model of bindings. Calculation part is focused on safety mechanisms and the most stressed parts, which are the frame and tetons fixing of safety mechanisms. Thesis includes also MKP simulations of bindings for representation results of construction alterations and results of stresses at critical conditions. The final part of thesis is comparison of the most important properties of both bindings and results of MKP simulations.
