Abstract

The objective of this thesis is to construct and document a device that is able to emit switching pulses for car engine fuel injector nozzles. When the fuel pressure circuit is finished this pulse generator is supposed to be a part of an engine test bed for fuel jet systems. The injector nozzles could be removed from the combustion engine then and placed into the engine test bed, where we can measure and monitor their qualities during the injection of fuel. The mechanism is supposed to be able to work with injector nozzles that are constructed for voltages of 12V, 24V, 80V, 120V. The time and frequency of switching impulses should be adjustable.
