Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with design of battery box for rail vehicle. This battery box will be a part of designed new train for central Europe. The introduction of the thesis deals with dismemberment rail vehicles and batteries. It is also described a standard. This Standard is needed for strength calculations. The next section described developed variants and choice most optimal design. Selected variant is described in details. The following is a analytical calculation of critical parts, and the entire load-bearing structure is inspected using FEM. In the end is rating of the whole work. Recommendation for production and knowledge that summarize the design of the structure.
