Abstract

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to create a user interface for a narrative evolution game that combines elements of board and computer games. The introduction describes the history of hybrid board games and their development. Subsequently, the issue of developing graphical interfaces is discussed and these experiences are demonstrated on selected board game titles. The thesis further deals with the design and implementation of a graphical interface that allows players to interact with the game world and its rules. The result of the work is a functional prototype of the user environment, which is able to display the game world and allows players to perform game actions and, together with the work of other colleagues, creates a functional prototype of the entire board game.
