Abstract

The Bachelor thesis deals with filtration and purity of working fluids and gases. The aim of this work is to produce a comprehensive overview of this issue. The introduction provides a general description of the hydraulic fluids filtration and the preparation of compressed air. The next part describes individual filtration methods depending on the particular type of filter. Further, I describe the criteria to select a suitable filter with respect to the various aspects such as the dependence on the flow through the filter element or the maximum permitted pressure loss on the insert. In general, the basic specifications of filters and filter inserts are described in this section. Further, the requirements for the purity of hydraulic fluids and compressed gas, which depend on the selected elements of the circuit, are described. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains an experimental verification of the purity of the working fluid on the test sample. The final part of this section is the experiment evaluation.
