Abstract

My diploma work deals with the active vibration and noise control. The first task was to design a laboratory test stand as a tool for verification the principle of the active vibration control. The test stand consists of a chain of rigid bodies interconnected by rubber dampers. All the bodies are hanged up with the use of a flexible ribbon allowing displacement only in the horizontal direction. The mini-shaker B&K 4810 excites vibration of the body chain end and act as a disturbance. Vibration of one of hanged up bodies is detected by an accelerometer and the output signal of the sensor is connected to the dSPACE digital signal processor, where is processed by a controller. The output signal of the digital signal processor is an input of the amplifier TIRA BAA 120, which controls the TIRA shaker actuating the opposite side of the interconnected body chain aimed to cancel vibration of the selected body. The second task was to identify dynamic properties of the body chain and to verify functionality of active vibration control.
