Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the design of a demonstration blade and its equipment. The design is based on the specified requirements that the blade must meet. The theoretical part is focused on the division of blades in different sectors and their use. The second part describes the development of the structural unit – introduction of the chassis, lifting equipment, etc. The last part work focuses more closely on the mechanized parts and the structural solution – it includes strength calculations and safety verification of the designed structure. In order to achieve the required lifetime and reliability of the blade, it was necessary to test out with calculations the most stressed parts of the plow and its equipment. This was performed on selected parts of the equipment by FEM analysis in the environment of AUTODESk Inventor.
