Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to identify the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the company ABC, s.r.o. based on selected strategic analyses. The secondary objective is to propose a business strategy considering the challenging situation in the automotive industry in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis defines concepts related to strategic analysis, such as strategy, vision, mission, and goals. It further describes theoretical methods for analyzing the external and internal environment of the company, as well as mixed analysis. The subsequent practical part of the thesis applies the methods described in the theoretical part to a specific company. Within the external environment, a PESTLE analysis and Porter's analysis of the competitive environment are applied. For the internal environment, the McKinsey 7S analysis is initially utilized, followed by a financial analysis of the company. To summarize all the analyses used, a SWOT analysis is applied, which categorizes the described factors into strengths or weaknesses and opportunities and threats. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, a certain strategy is recommended.
