Abstract

This master thesis describes the process of qualification homogenous weld joint on the tube of steel P92. The theoretical part presents a study of the current state of modified 9-12% Cr steels, which are applied in the power industry. The second chapter describes the quality system in the welding process and qualification of welded joints. The practical part describes the procedure of the experiment, which includes the design of technological process of welding pipe test methods 141 and 111, the result is to design a preliminary welding procedure specifications (pWPS). The following section deals with the fabrication and testing of weld joint and also assessing non-destructive and destructive tests of welding. In the conclusion is summarized discussion of results. The outcome of the experiment is a protocol for welding procedure qualification (WPQR).
