Abstract

The thesis called "Feature-based recognition" deals with the issue of authorized recognition of objects occurring in an image and which is based on features. The thesis appertains to the field of computer vision. The theoretical part of the thesis describes a chain of image processing from its preprocessing up to the classification. The emphasis is put on features, which are dealt with in chapter 5. The practical part is dedicated to the implementation of selected features with the help of OpenCV library for C++. The detected features serve as input data for the classification by means of a decision tree.
