Abstract
This bachelor's thesis deals with the machining temperature while using different chipbreakers on the sintered carbide interchangeable cutting inserts from the company ISCAR. The first, theoretical, part of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the creation of the temperature and a heat, its measuring and examines the creation of chip during machining and its shape. Experimental part deals with description of chosen tools, elected machine, workpiece and measuring technique. Evaluation consist of achieved temperatures of particular chipbreakers under certain cutting conditions. Last part of thesis mentions the most suitable conditions for chipbreaker and the most suitable chipbreaker for machining elected for an experiment.
