Optimalizace výrobního procesu s ohledem na kapacitní bilancování

Abstract

This master’s thesis deals with production process optimization with regard to capacity balancing. General characteristics of the issue is presented in the introduction of the thesis, then the production process of the brass ferrule is analysed. The process is analysed at two levels. The first level includes the process itself and its weak spots. The second level includes its capacity utilization rate and its financial side. On the basis of the analysis of the current state, particular actions, which can bring the company bigger amount of products with the same amount of workload, are suggested. Suggestions, which were offered, include change of the layout of the workplace, suggestion of the new jig for perforation, production of one particular type of the ferrule and last but not least, retaining the typical ferrule.
