Abstract

The goal of bachelor work is to consider an option of implementation of Lean Production concept in manufacturing company Weppler Filter s.r.o., with core business - production of plastic and metal microfilters, based in Ostrava. In theoretical part is introduced concept of Lean Production and its individual methods. Practical part of bachelor work is focused on actual status of production process evaluation, work out a SWOT analysis with positive and negative sides of Lean Production concept, implementation of 5S and Poka-Yoke into practice. Implementation of proposed procedures will help Weppler Filter s.r.o. to achive reduction of waste in the form of unnecessary movements, waiting, high scrap rate and unused human potential.
