Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of painting systems on steel structures. Theoretically, it includes the principles of atmospheric corrosion, which corresponds to a systematic description of surface pretreatment and treatment with painting coatings. The work mentions a concrete description of the actual painting system construction, where the assessment was made against the pre-treatment according to normative regulations. The suitability of the anchor profile, surface cleanliness and surface tension are assessed on test samples. The examinations carried out show the shortcomings of the current pretreatment. Furthermore, the basic properties of the coating system are measured, namely the thickness measurement and the determination of the tear-off values.
