Abstract

This master’s thesis deals with the structural design of a walker with forearm support. This walker will be used as a walking aid for a person with lower limb paralysis who uses a passive exoskeleton to stand. The first part is devoted to research of all the different types of walkers that exist on the market, describing their advantages, disadvantages and for whom the type is intended. The second part contains concepts of the given walker and its possible solutions. The third part is dedicated to the specific design solution. The fourth part is devoted to FEM analysis and control calculations. The final part of the work is the creation of drawings according to the recommendations of the thesis supervisor.
