Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of barrels drying equipment. The introduction provides an overview of the most common drying applications along with a focus on pneumatic nozzles and air knives. The second part deals with the selection of suitable drying method. The subsequent design of pneumatic diagrams is composed of several variants containing a specification of the elements used and a description of the function of the pneumatic circuit. Pneumatic diagrams are in a larger scale in the appendix of the diploma thesis. The next part focuses on the calculation of the pneumatic cylinder, where the calculation is affected by the length of the piston rod. The design of the device is chosen, based on chosen variant of drying. The construction part contains two variants of individual parts of the assembly, which are described using pictures.
