Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with calibration of the membrane. In the beginning of the thesis, the theory of calibration of the membrane is explained. This part includes various methods of calibration, the construction of the membrane itself and the specifications needed for its perimeter placement. The practical part contains a blueprint of the water line for calibration of the membrane. This line is designed for the use of membrane with any standardized constriction ratio. The maximum external diameter of the membrane is D = 21,2 mm. The thesis also includes measurements of all available measuring lines from the department of hydromechanics and hydraulic equipment. While measuring I recorded the flow rate values, the duration of liquid outflow and the loss heights on the membrane. Consecutively, thanks to calculations and graphic procession I reached to the calibration curve of the membrane. I determined an error for each task.
