Abstract

This master thesis deals with flow characteristics of pneumatic components using Matlab-Simulink. Introduction contains a review of flow control elements and factors of compressed air. Then there’s described a way to measure according to ISO 6358 and described the test track, which is made up of various sensors and control elements. The following describes the various sensors and control elements, by means of the test track was made. The task was measured in a laboratory, where was compiled for this purpose also a scheme in Matlab-Simulink. After testing and fine-tuning the test track is carried out a measurement of pneumatic elements, which is tasked to measure the required variables for calculating the acoustic conductivity C and the pressure ratio b. Afterwards the data are recorded and transferred to Matlab programme. For a graphical and computing presentation there is created an M-file, which allows a fast presentation of graphs P / Q and the required calculated values C and b. Eventually, the measured data are compared with the tabular data from the manufacturer.
