Zhodnocení managementu týmů Formule 1

Abstract

This bachelor‘s thesis examines the management evaluation in Formula 1 Teams. The theoretical part explains key terms related to management including manager, sports manager, sport, Formula 1, organizational structures and strategy. The practical part evaluates the organizational structures of the selected Formula 1 team as well as the role of the International Automobile Federation and its financial situation. Formula 1 as a governing body has its own management and sources of revenues that were also inspected. Another theme discussed was the financial comparison and its influence on performance between two rival teams. The thesis provides an overview of the management evaluation of Formula 1 teams. Even though the team has more financial resources it doesn‘t mean that the team will be more successful. Over time Formula 1 is getting more technological than ever before. Every detail matters and for the team‘s success are crucial human resources thus having a great team is a crucial element of the team‘s winning.
