Abstract

This dissertation deals with the influence of the technical parameters of a 3D printer working with FDM technology on the quality of printed elements. The main goal is to describe the issues and influences that lead to defects on printed parts. Based on this knowledge, propose suitable technological and structural measures. The work describes some defects caused by insufficient modification of parts due to the technology used. Also the influence of the structural groups of the 3D printer, which have a direct link to the quality of the manufactured part. The practical part of the work deals with measurements that were carried out on the work stand and on the test printer. The measured data lead to a description of the course of material dosing and the effect of the weight of the print head on the creation of vibrations that affect the quality of the printed parts. In conclusion, this work deals with other technological possibilities of these machines and their potential use. The results of the work can be used as a set of findings and recommendations for 3D printer designs.
