Abstract
Topology optimization is often used in practice, but post-processing of its results is not always painless and it is necessary to invest more time in preparing new geometry. This bachelor thesis deals with methods of post-processing of topology optimization results. In the first chapter, the basics of topology optimization by material distribution method are studied, then the research and study of post-processing methods are done. Available commercial and open-source software are used to smooth out two geometries by chosen methods. The results of smoothing are evaluated based on the given standpoint and in the conclusion is the acquired knowledge summarized. In the end, a discussion is held about methods and what could be done to achieve straightforward and easy work with geometries as a result of topology optimization.
