Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a workplace for assembling the roof of containers on the company's assembly line. The assembly line produces different sizes of containers for which the workplace must be designed. In the first part of the thesis, examples of relevant types of lifting devices are presented. The design part of the work follows, where possible device concepts are first proposed to solve the given problem. The conceptual design of the chosen variant is then elaborated more precisely - mainly the types of mechanisms and components are dealt with. A scissor lift platform is selected from them, for which a more accurate structural design is made. Furthermore, the calculation of the lifting scissor platform is carried out, including the inspection of critical components. The drawing documentation of the final design is an appendix to the diploma thesis.
