Modelování proudění spalin ve vstupní části elektrostatického odlučovače

Abstract

Master thesis deals with the problem of flue gas flow in the inlet part of electrostatic precipitators. In the introduction the principle of their function and construction is described. The following part focuses on the problem of modelling the fluid flow. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the design of the baffle plates, where first the setup of the 2D computa-tional model and the pre-selection of the appropriate baffle plate geometry based on the results of the Ansys Fluent calculation are described. The results of the 2D simulation are used to set up the 3D computational model. The 3D simulation results are evaluated, com-pared and finally the best design solution is determined.
