Abstract
The Master thesis deals with the effect of welding technology on the properties and microstructure of a welded joint on a 316L corrosion resistant steel made by 3D printing using the SLM method. The theoretical part of the Master thesis is decided to selected technologies used in the production of the samples and the tests that have been applied to them. The practical part is focused on the preparation of samples and subsequent implementation and evaluation of tests. From non-destructive tests, visual, penetrant and radiographic tests were performed. The destructive tests that were performed included microscopic and macroscopic analysis, hardness measurement and, last but not least, tensile testing. All findings are then summarized in the conclusion.
