Výzkum vlivu skladby komunálního odpadu využívaného v ZEVO na tavitelnost popela

Abstract

The present dissertation deals with the influence of combustion material composition, in this case separated municipal waste, in WtE – waste to energy plants on ash fusibility. Also the energy use of municipal waste is solved in other way than its own combustion. Combined combustion appropriately utilizes the energy capacity of the waste together with the supply of another source of energy, which may be coal or also the targeted cultivation biomass. This combined combustion could be applied in other power plants in the future. Approximately 50 different materials were subjected to chemical and thermochemical analyzes such as calorific value, moisture, elemental analysis, ash content, volatile and fixed carbon, water extraction, analysis on RTG fluorescence and, last but not least, ash melting tests from individual materials and mixtures thereof at increasing temperature.
