Abstract

Given Dissertation Thesis is focused on processing experimental measurement of cutting forces, wear process, life-time and roughness of machined surface results, which should contribute to optimalization and intensification of high-rigid materials machining in industrial environment. Properly selected cutting material should be followed by appropriate optimalization of machining process. This optimalization must assure right selection of cutting conditions to arrange the most effective machining, what is one of the basic goals requested by each industrial company. Introduction of the thesis shows reviews and characteristic of cutting materials which have been offered by present market, their dividing and application samples of materials. Due to characteristic of this thesis, hard-machining of materials by exchangeable inserts made of cubic boron nitride, there are mentioned special chapters devoted directly to cutting tools made of superior-hardened materials and highspeed-machined technology. Important part of this work deals with experimental processes of each measurement and following evaluation of results. This chapter contains information about specification of machined and cutting materials, description and parameters of machine, tool and other equipment that have been used during this stage. The final part of thesis introduces measured results, their evaluation, discussion, benefits for practical use and scientific benefits with outputs that are intended for further research in future.
