Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis deals with rationalization of manufacture of the main shaft of wind power with output of 3.6 MW. The introductory part describes theory of machining. The following is the describtion of the material for manufacture of the main shaft, current technical procedure of manufacturing, tools and working machine, which are used. Then is proposed a new technology of the clamping of the main shaft, new technical procedure, cutting tools and a new conditions for cutting. On the basis of the proposed changes a new technical-economical assessment is done. At first, costs and savings of self-centering plate are quantified, then there is time comparison and financial savings of both technologies of machining including costs for cutting tools. At the end of the work I have carried out assessment of the results.
