Abstract

In production and railway vehicles repairs the material anti-rust protection possibility determination is very important in terms of quality assurance and product lifetime. After preliminary corrosion characteristic and specification of eventual reasons of corrosion formation this thesis is concerned of eventual defects and imperfections determination at steel materials preparations before protective painting systems application. The painting systems have been applied on the differently pre-set steel boards in more modifications for optimal material surface preparation and specification of suitable painting system determination as final product. Painting types have been tested by physical and accelerated corrosion laboratory tests in a condensation chamber and by pull-off adhesion test.
