Abstract

Th thesis concentrates on analysis of protein sequence alignment methods. Its goals is summarisation of current knowledge of the subject and finding of optimal settings of assigned sequence analysis method. The first part concerns about biochemical view on proteins. The following part summarise methods for protein sequences and structures analysis. The third part consists of databases list which are used for storing of biological data, protein analysis, etc.

The last part target is design of proteinsequence alignment method (the way how input data are normalized, the alignment method itself, etc.), analysis of its outputs and its settings optimization.
